Bvalco Highly Commended in FT Innovative Lawyers Report 2010
Bvalco has received a Highly Commended award in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Report 2010. The report, “now in its fifth year”, is the result of collaborative research by the Financial Times and its research partner RSG Consulting. It “has become one of the top legal rankings in Europe.” This year’s Report was the result of an extensive investigation into the responses of law firms to the 2008 financial crisis, which has generated a need for innovation within and collaboration between law firms and other professional services. Bvalco’s approach is described in the Report as “perhaps the most imaginative response” to the crisis. It ranked joint third out of twelve award-winners in the Risk and Regulation category, receiving eight out of ten – the highest score given – in the 'originality' criteria. The FT Innovative Lawyers award ceremony was held on 20 October 2010 and the Special Report appeared as a supplement in the Financial Times on 21 October 2010. It includes an article on Bvalco by Andrew Baxter, ‘A one-stop shop for board performance’. --ENDS--This information from the Financial Times was produced by Katie Webb |
